Chief Executive Officer/General Manager
Josh has worked as the CEO/General Manager of the Wedge Community Co-op since 2012. In that role he has helped lead a number of new initiatives including the remodel of the flagship Lyndale store, the development of a food commissary, market cafe, and catering business, a comprehensive re-branding project, and now is managing the implementation of the consolidation between the Wedge and Linden Hills Co-ops. He is passionate about the Wedge's miss
ion of "building community by developing a strong local food system." In addition to his efforts to accomplish this at the Wedge, Josh serves on the board of Mill City Farmers' Market, is a former board member of Midtown Global Market, and is a judge for food and beverage division of Minnesota Cup -- the nation's largest state-affiliated startup competition. The Twin Cities Business Journal named Josh as one of the 100 Twin Cities Business People to Know in 2016. Last summer Josh spoke to several hundred people from food start ups and investors at the Project Nosh conference in Brooklyn on the topic of “The Store as a Lens: How we are Reacting to Food Trends.” He is also passionate about the Twin Cities dining scene and would be happy to provide out of town guests with tips on where to eat.
