Joel Kopischke is an owner/member of CDS Consulting Co-op (a cooperatively run consulting group serving cooperatives) where he specializes in Cooperative Governance, strategic leadership, board development, and executive coaching. In addition to many CCMA
workshops, Joel has been a featured presenter at several NTCA (National Telecomm Cooperative Association) conferences.
Joel has over 20 years experience in process improvement and leadership consulting and has led experiential workshops and leadership development programs across the US, the UK and South Africa. Additionally, Joel studied Policy Governance with John & Miriam Carver at the Policy Governance Academy and is an MBTI ® Certified Practitioner able to perform Myers- Briggs Type Indicator assessments. In Joel’s early career as a project manager, software designer, & developer, he led high-profile projects domestically and internationally for Visa, GE, GM, HP, Caterpillar, Rockwell, Northwestern Mutual, and Manpower. His software design work for the Jacksonville Jaguars earned him 3 patents.
Joel is also a professional singer and performed the National Anthem for game 2 of the MLB 2011 National League Championship Series. His debut album “I Got Yule Babe” was heard on XMRadio and his follow-up CD “Ground Control To Santa Claus” was released in 2013, the same year he made his Off-Broadway debut.
