Brandon has worked in the natural foods industry for 16 years. He has held the position of General Manager at GreenStar Co-op in Ithaca, NY since 2010. In that time, Brandon has helped plan for an addition of a 10,000 SF warehouse, a commissary kitchen, public events space and most recently, GreenStar’s third store adjacent to Cornell University’s campus. All of these projects required operational planning, budgeting and financing to gain the approval of GreenStar’s board of directors and ultimately approval by its membership for the addition of a third cooperative store front. He has some valuable insights on how to carefully plan for and finance expansions which will engage your members and have them hop on for the ride.
